Late variety: 140–145 days from full emergence to harvest. Plants produce long vines.
Fruit is large, spherical, smooth or slightly segmented, gray, without a pattern, about 3 kg.
Rind is thin. Flesh is deep orange, 5 cm thick, firm, tender, juicy, sweet, with excellent taste.
Fruits are high in vitamin C and carotene and have strong culinary qualities.
Disease-resistant variety with excellent keeping quality and good transportability. Dry matter 15–25%, sugars 10.4%.
Fruits store well until the winter harvest.
Cultivation.
Sow outdoors in late May–early June, 2–3 seeds per hole, 5–6 cm deep, 70 cm between holes. Thin after emergence.
Can be grown from seedlings: transplant 20-day-old seedlings outdoors after the risk of frost has passed.
Pinch the main stem above the 4th leaf; leave 1–2 fruit sets on side shoots.
